Support for Golfers

Financial Assistance

Individual grants will be provided to successful applicants to assist with out of pocket expenses directly associated with the pursuit of training, coaching and competition programmes. The assessment of the amount to be awarded in each case will be made by the Golf Trust Committee, based on the information provided in the players' application form.

Training Facilities

As part of the Trust's support package, all the golfers can avail of the world class facilities at the GUI's National Academy at Carton House.

Sport Science and Medical Services

The golfers on the scheme have access to a number of sport science service providers such as physiologists, sports psychologists and physiotherapists which is coordinated by the Irish Institute of Sport, on behalf of the Irish Sports Council.
